SQL server gives XML support.
If we are using features like reading and writing XML directly in sql server
using
FOR XML (SELECT QUERy) and perhaps OPENXML

Now is such similar thing available in oracle.

Basically can i make the project - database independent in such a
situation.

At present i use SQL server ,but later with existing project can i use other
database(oracle).

Is such thing possible?
If yes then how much extent of changes it will have to incorporate in my
project ?

Please reply .
Thanks
Nitin
