----------------------------------------------------------- From: AjaySingala[Synergetics] Message 3 in Discussion Hey there Mike! Well, U know what? I'd suggest not to put the BLL in the Web Service itself, because, what if tomorrow, U need to use the methods from somewhere else, without using the Web Service? For e.g.;, U might create another app in the near future which also requires the same BLL processes. So, what do you do? You can't make a reference to a Web Service just because U want to use "some" of the processes in it's BLL. For all you know, the new app may ne be web based at all. So, it's better of the BLL is outside the Web Service as a separate layer, all by itself. Think about abstraction when working on Enterprise models. Each layer must be more or less independant from each other and must be able to integrate with other apps/layers etc. Regards, Ajay Singala [Synergetics]. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/mumbaiusergroup/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
