I am involved in a similar project, though it is in ASP but I see no issues in getting 
it working for ASP.NET
At the top of asp (asp.net) page you need to set the encoding of the page as 
Response.CharSet = "utf-8"
After that whatever content you display on the page would be in the appropriate 
language.
I assume that you would be displaying Unicode content.
Also in our project the Database used was SQL 2000 which has provision for storing 
unicode content.
(using ntext & nvarchar data types)
