The columns are week, amt1, amt2, amt3, amt4,.......amt40. Now I have to write a query and have to find out the max amount from the table for each week. For example for first week the amt8 id the highest one. for week 2 amt23 is the highest one. so the Result Set will be Week1 amt8 week2 amt23 week3 amt5 week4 amt40 how can i write such an sql query.. I can get the results if I write a script in vb or any language but I would like to write a query for this.
