----------------------------------------------------------- From: AjaySingala[Synergetics] Message 2 in Discussion Hi Shreya! I have some questions and am a bit confused too regarding your issues. Issue #1: On editing a Workflow created task, the task form does not take the correct URL. For e.g. if the workflow created task is New Task then on editing this task the URL takes EditForm.aspx instead of NewTask.aspx. Currently we get a Page Not Found error. If the tasks are opened from within a web part view then the edit item operation on that task works correctly. Am confused here. In the "for e.g.;" statement, you have said that on editing it the URL is EditForm.aspx instead of NewTask.aspx. Well, isn't that how it is supposed to be? If you edit an item, it will go to EditForm and not NewTask. Maybe I havent understood your issue properly. If I have, please clarify. Then, if you want to redirect to a custom page instead of the standard WSS page when editing or adding items to the list/library, you have to do the necessary configuration for the same from SharePoint Designer. Have you done that? Issue #2: Certain SharePoint functions like modify current view, view task, edit task etc do not seem to work and give the Page Not Found error. Is it the case that you have created custom pages for adding and editing tasks and not configured them properly. OR just renamed the New and Edit forms? Because renaming them can result in this problem. Cheers, Ajay Singala. ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/mumbaiusergroup/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
