Yes I configured with --enable-usb.

Here is what I get if i run testpcsc

[EMAIL PROTECTED] src # ./testpcsc

MUSCLE PC/SC Lite Test Program

Testing SCardEstablishContext : Command successful.
Testing SCardGetStatusChange

I insert my card and remove it and this is as far as I get. Does this mean
that I'm not accessing the reader?

Here is the output from pcscd

[EMAIL PROTECTED] src # ./pcscd -f -d stdout
pcscdaemon.c:258 main: debug messages to stdout
pcscdaemon.c:395 main: warning: no reader.conf found

pcscdaemon.c:413 main: pcsc-lite daemon ready.
winscard_msg.c:263 SHMProcessEvents: Common channel packet arrival
winscard.c:77 SCardEstablishContext: Establishing Context: 17020656
