I remember your patch. It was just a workaround and not a really satisfactory solution. Anybody has a comment in the patch? As I already said I really prefer to receive patchs using the patch/bug tracker on alioth [1]. I may forget/lose mails. Alioth will not lose bug reports. It would also be far far better if you (patch senders) use a unified diff (add -u to your diff command).
