Maybe that's the source of the problem. But a crash is never a correct
way to behave.

I will try to install a Fedora Core 1 but I don't know when.

Anyone else has a similar problem with or without Fedora?


I have pc-sc lite running on Fedora Core 1 with self compiled kernel 2.6.4. This one should also have nptl as far as I know.

No problems with crashes. But as I wrote in my Howto I have to describe the usb reader in the reader.conf because it is not detected automatically.

But I think this is because of the new way the proc fs - or is it now called sysfs? - works. I will test Fedora Core 2 as soon as it arrives and report if there is a change. FC2 will already have the 2.6 kernel preinstalled.
