I am confused about all of this--please excuse me, I am simply a user of the card, not a developer.
I was under the impression that loading an applet implies "reformatting" or overwriting the card. This card has already been written by my employer...I walked into an office months ago and they made the card for me (had me type in a PIN, verify the PIN, etc.) If loading the muscle applet changes or overwrites the card, I don't want to do that.
They have a demo application at work that works on Windows only--as far as I know--it asks me to plug in the card, then it tells me how many tries I have left to enter the correct PIN. If I enter the correct pin, is displays some type of certificate data and says the card is okay.
One person forgot his PIN and tried three times...now his card is locked :-)
If you think is is right to load an applet, could you tell me which one and how?
