I'm trying to decide between the GemPC Twin and the GemPC USB SL for a project that I'm working on that will use the CardEdge applet and the muscle PCKS11 libraries. I intend to use only the USB interface of the twin, if I get it. I see that the CCID drivers support both. Is there any advantage to one over the other? It looks to me like the SL is the only one that has USB 2.0 support. Is this true? If so, does it make any difference? Perhaps the bottleneck is more on the smartcard CPU than it is on the USB link.
