Note that Dell PDAs are shipped with a TPM although it is currently disabled. The idea of mixing a badge for visual inspection with PKI for remote access was a great idea. Ten years ago. Today it only creates problems and should be dismissed. Using the SIM-card (disconnected PDA will soon disappear from the market) is a possibility but it has limited capacity and is owned and controlled by an operator making this option less viable. I have compiled opensc on solaris box. But 'opensc-tool --list-readers' still says no readers found. I have ocfserv -D running and it didn't show any debug information when running opensc-tool. So I think opensc-tool didn't even get communicated with ocfserv daemon. How did you compile opensc? Do I need to have additional configurations to make opensc talk to ocfserv?
