Thanks for your help!

Well, I 've already checked the Firmware-Version (with some Smartcard-tool 
under XP). The reader has firmware version 5.18 and behaves exakt the way you 
described for the new version.

Do you know, whether the scr3xxx_v4.6.1 drivers from towitoko work? I could'nt 
compile them yet...
