You need a windows box to flash. I ended up having to fish around because their download links weren't working.
It is branded as a ActivCard USB Reader 2.0. It is now reported as a SCM SCR 3310.
Which update? I confess to being confusd by what's available. My coworker has an ActivCard reader upgraded as described at
