Yes, I have used it successfully with a "Gemplus GXP3 64V2N" and an
"Axalto Access 64K".  Does your libmusclepkcs11 pass the "ld -d" test?
I never saw firefox crash in my experiments.  You might try running
firefox under a new user or new profile, just in case there's any
baggage in your config.

    ccid 1.0.1-2
    libmusclecard 1.3.3-2
    muscletools_2.1.0-2
    muscleframework 1.1.5-5 (rebuilt with patches)
    firefox 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.4-1
