Hi christian I do not know of any programmable door locks, but you can easily create on yourself. I am not entirely sure if I understand your question correctly, from your information I can see two options.
1) take some microcontroller, (for instance an atmega16 from atmel), attach a serial reader to it and send hex codes to the reader through the uart. (you could always take a look at arduino, too). 2) search for a small embedded system, attach a usb or serial reader to it and communicate with it using pc/sc. Now, for the lock itself, find yourself a standard electric lock, and let 1) or 2) open/close it using a relay. It should be noted that both have their advantages: the former will be small and cheap, but harder to program, while the latter may be rather easy to programm, but will be more expensive and bigger.
