The SEG is a composite device. The CCID device is on interface if1 and
was opened correctly. You can see the card ATR in the logs. if0 should
be the mass storage part of the SEG device and is NOT a CCID device.

Your SEG is working correctly. You can check that using the command
pcsc_scan from the pcsc-tools package.
