javacard supplies constants for the bit length of RSA up to I think 2048, but a 
card can support longer sizes.  Depends on the card.  I think the only javacard 
constraint is the key has to be a multiple of some power of 2 - I forget which. 
 That said, I can't think of any card I've played with that supports above 2048 
for any operation.

Then there the difference between generate and signatures/encrypt.  Some cards 
won't do generation above a certain value, but will do all the other supported 
operations.
