Hello, 2011/4/8 Jean-Michel Pouré - GOOZE <[email protected]>: > I tested it a few months ago the Cardman 4040 and it worked with OpenSC. On what OS? OpenSC should work with virtually any contact smart card reader which has a PC/SC driver (preferred) or CT-API or OpenCT driver. Availability of reader drivers varies among operating systems and devices though.

Do we need a ifhandler or is it plainly supported > by libccid? None of the documentation I can find online about CM4040 talks about CCID. I also have the device from a long time ago but no computer with a PCMCIA interface any more. I can't remember using it when I had a PCMCIA machine so I guess it could be problematic from available open source driver point of view. But as Ludovic said - testing for CCID compatibility (and thus possible support in libccid) can only be verified with testing with CCID parse command.
