Since your libusb changes seem static in nature, it might be advantageous
for packagers to also publish the diff (-u). I find it way more useful,
than some tarred up git trees without further description..

With the diff, I wouldn't had to mess with _two_ git trees, especially
since yours is missing all the version tags.

Not yet, but haven't checked many devices..

I've tried hard to trick pcscd into leaking memory in this setup, but
failed so far ;) The memory utilization kept stable for about 12 hours:

UID PID PPID LWP C NLWP SZ RSS PSR STIME TTY TIME CMD
root 4868 1 4868 0 3 10808 1172 1 00:26 pts/24 00:00:00
/usr/sbin/pcscd
root 4868 1 4869 0 3 10808 1172 1 00:26 pts/24 00:01:48
/usr/sbin/pcscd
root 4868 1 4871 0 3 10808 1172 0 00:26 pts/24 00:00:00
/usr/sbin/pcscd

That is looking much saner now. Great.

It's a real pity, that the libusb maintainers are such lamers..

Thanks for your support, Ludovic. It's most appreciated.

Pete
