Instead of rejecting the reader the name is truncated. Using a variable length reader name has impacts on the client/server communication protocol so is not as easy as planed. In revision 6355 I increased MAX_READERNAME from 100 to 128 to avoid some reader name truncation. It is not perfect but your reader name should not suffer the truncation. Problem solved. I should release a new version of pcsc-lite soon.
