scratch that. I upgraded google chrome to latest rpm and it works now.
The only caveat is that you have to go into settings/manage certificates
to get it to initially prompt for pin. that being said, I think we've
moved more to "google chrome" exclusively and outside the purview of
this list, so I don't want to bother you guys any more about it.
