We're currently 2 months into a 5 month (functioning) prototype (that
could very well turn into a several-year project). Right now, the only
real problem it's causing is that we have to have a separate machine for
each service we need up. We're just trying to be pro-active and not
wait until we're 1 month from delivery to come up with a solution when
it would be a much bigger issue.

I'm interested in the hot deploy/undeploy you've mentioned. Is there
somewhere I can read more about this? If we can be sure that a solution
will be available relatively soon, implementing a short-term solution
may be an option.

Subject: Re: Deploying multiple WARs each built with MUSE Web Services

I'll have to delegate to one of the Muse 1.x developers for whether
multiple WARs are possible. Perhaps there is a workaround for the JNDI
configuration that would allow you to redeploy the same app with very
similar configuration.
How far into your project are you? What level of support (QoS) is
expected
of the project right now? Muse 2.0 runs on Axis2 and supports hot
deploy/undeploy of multiple services without requiring multiple WAR
files
(you can still use multiple WARs if you want, but you'd be duplicating a

lot of JARs). Unfortunately, we are still two months or so from a
release,
so I can't suggest you use this for production code right now. If you're

in PoC/early dev mode, we'd be glad to help you out (in exchange for you

reporting any bugs :) ).
