But the measure of entropy is still a statistical measure, based on a distribution which is a *given* prob. dist., i.e. either *you* are saying something with it by having one or more possible "givens' that you every time don't make explicit, or you searching for some special maxim that has nothing to do with the technical subjects but more with some personal idea of being useful.

And your comparison doesn't hold it's own without you apparently noticing the obvious.
