Just to add a few points: 1) Audiveris is getting a large update soon so that may work - I've had no problems on four or five versions of Linux. 2) Can you read music and if so do you have a midi keyboard? If so MuseScore and Tuxguitar can read in midi and tidy it up a bit. TuxGuitar seems to do a better job and will have a go at working out guitar fingerings too! Both can export to PDF or Lillypond though once in a playable format the printable score becomes redundant. I've taken some of the Midi off the site for guitar but it seems the Lilypond to MIdi converter is a bit inaccurate. Tom
