I am guessing it involves running convert-ly on older version Lilypond files and then fixing the issues that arise? I am probably not competent to be of much use (since I have only used Lilypond to the extent that it has allowed me to get to a level to do what I want now and further experience will probably be very slow) but it is worth knowing more . .
