Comment (by kevin8t8):
I'm glad to hear at least the sasl authentication is working now.
For the address editing on msg.2, when using *only* $edit_headers, I'm not
seeing any truncation with repeated edits.
However, back in the compose menu, if I edit the Cc list, then it's
truncated in the single line buffer. Hitting <Enter> to get out causes
mutt to reparse the buffer (and thus silently truncate the list). Hitting
ctrl-g fortunately seems to stop the reparse and doesn't end up
truncating. Are you seeing the truncation in other places?
For now, I'm going to increase HUGE_STRING to 8192, which I hope is enough
to solve your immediate problems.
For the future, I wonder if it would be usable to (add an option to)
switch to using a menu-style page for managing address lists instead (like
the mailbox index view; with tagging, sorting, and add/edit/delete address
commands). I'm not much of a UI person, but this might at least fit in
with the model we're using everywhere else in mutt.
