I didn't just write the above macro off-the-cuff.  I actually tried it
out, and got it working, exactly as you see it above.

I'm sure that you can read the manual, and check up on my handywork, and
see what it is that the macro is supposed to do.  See the section on
limit-patterns, or pattern matching.

There is no need, because Mutt performs pattern-matching.

There should have been a doc/manual.txt file which was included with
your Mutt source code.  That's the manual I refer to above.
