UTF-8?

Can Mutt 1.2 handle UTF-8?  When I have $charset="iso-8859-13", and
$send_charset="utf-8", bad things happen.  BTW, I have glibc 2.1.3.

Hoping the problem  magically goes away  by ignoring it is the "microsoft
