An apt-get update, followed by an apt-get install postfix (with the
need to answer a question or two as the auto-install completes) is
almost all that I've done. OK, a postinstall tweak of relayhost and
mydestination helped in my case, and I wanted procmail invoked on
receipt, but I've not read even 1% of the documentation to get it going.
At first it looked a bit daunting, after years of using sendmail,
admittedly.
