Indeed, with hide_top_limited=yes I can limit the display of a subthread in the desired way. I'm now using this index macro: macro index "_S" "<tag-subthread><limit>~T\n<tag-subthread>" "Display only subthread" with hide_top_limited=yes in my .muttrc. Thanks for posting that tip. -- Will Fiveash
