Hello,

This is with mutt 1.5.24 (2015-08-30) on FreeBSD 11-CURRENT.

$ LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 date
17 de agosto de 2016, 11:14:48 CEST

i.e. with this LANG the month name is 'agosto' (or short 'ago'); when
you start mutt with this the first 2 New mails look like this:

$ LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 mutt

q:Salir  d:Sup.  u:Recuperar  s:Guardar  m:Nuevo  r:Responder  g:Grupo ?:Ayuda

 352 N   ago. 17 Apitz,Matthias  (  13) test 1

 353 N   Aug 17 Apitz,Matthias  (  13) test 2

note the dot after the correct 'ago' of mail 352, and the wrong month
'Aug' of mail 353; the bar in the index is over mail 352; if I now move
down the bar to 353, the lines change to:

 352 N   Aug 17 Apitz,Matthias  (  13) test 1

 353 N   Aug 17 Apitz,Matthias  (  13) test 2

i.e. now also mail 352 has a wrong spelled month (perhaps in default
English). The same happens with other languages, like Russian:

$ LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8 mutt

q:Выход  d:Удалить  u:Восстановить  s:Сохранить  m:Создать  r:Ответить g:Всем
?:Помощь
 352 N   авг. 17 Apitz,Matthias  (  13) test 1

 353 N   Aug 17 Apitz,Matthias  (  13) test 2

Thanks

        matthias
