1.) Clone a vimperator-labs repository from the website. You'll need
Mercurial ("hg") installed to do this. You can then use the "hg clone
..." command listed on the source page.

I should have mentioned that you can create this clone in any place that's convenient for you. Personally, I keep my source repositories in a directory like ~/repos.

Additionally, the "hg clone ..." command given on the source page includes a final argument "vimperator-labs". That argument is simply a destination directory. You can make it whatever you want (or leave it alone and "hg" will create one based on the URL). You can rename the directory later safely as desired. The name of the directory doesn't matter (just update the "[email protected]" file appropriately).
