Job Description: •Eight years of experience in the field of IT infrastructure and systems administration, several years of which should have been hands-on and minimum 1-3 years as a manager or a team lead. •Managed IT in a large or medium sized company. •Experience with any Linux variant, Installation, troubleshooting, install scripting. •Experience with Microsoft Windows platform including: Active Directory 2003, MS Exchange 2007, Sharepoint Services, Outlook 2007, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP OS. •Complete understanding of NIS infrastructure, configuration and security. •Expert knowledge of standard networking protocols and security standards. •Strong security background including knowledge of firewall and VPN administration. •Experience with wiring/cabling and wireless networking. •Experience in Directory Services •Network Services (DNS, DHCP, SSH, Samba, NIS) •Storage Management and Backups (NAS/SAN/DAS, NFS, Open Source solutions) •Email (Sendmail/Postfix, IMAP, POP3) •Should have had prior hands-on experience with switches, routers, and firewalls •Should have had prior experience with any Shell scripting. •Experience with web and application servers (IIS/Apache) •Experience in IP Telephony a plus The interview will happen in Chennai by this month.
