Briefly the Positions/Skills set they are looking for are as follows http://www.apc.com/in SUMMARY OF JOB : Position: Enterprise Systems Engineer Location: Bangalore KEY RELATIONSHIPS:Experienced, highly talented and motivated individuals for the positions of Enterprise Systems Engineer. Enterprise Systems Engineer will be work directly with an Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) to increase APC's market share and revenue within Key Account (Typically Fortune 1000, Named Accounts) through technical solution design and implementation. Key Result Areas: Enterprise System Engineers are expected to: § Design APC Network Critical Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) solutions for Enterprise end users. § Lead with APC InfraStruXure solution to become a trusted advisor and expand that to other application areas within the Named Account. § Present technical concepts and designs as they apply to the client’s IT environment. § Conduct demonstrations on APC products to include: InfraStruXure solutions, 3-phase UPS solutions, cooling products, racks, APC management solutions and any other APC solution sold into named accounts. § Conduct project coordination and project management activities for critical projects implemented in assigned accounts. § Build strong and lasting relationships within the Named Accounts' organization with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor the client can rely on for assistance in all aspects of their NCPI. § Uncover and develop opportunities in various parts of the organization by an assortment of means such as: building new relationships, leveraging existing relationships, coordinating and maximizing selling efficiencies by partnering with APC's IT & facilities channel partners, i.e. Resellers, VAR's, High Power Partners, etc. § Educate your Named Accounts’ key decision makers on the value of NCPI planning and get NCPI into the strategic spending plans of the account in the current/next fiscal year(s). § Assist the EAM to Define & Develop strategic account plans for each Named Account. § Assist the EAM in mapping each Named Account thoroughly identifying all internal & external influencers for NCPI related opportunities. § Mobilize APC resources to execute projects on time to increase customer satisfaction. § Leverage all other APC team members as well as APC channel partners and CE-firms to “surround the customer” and increase APC’s “share of wallet” of the account. § Rigorously use reporting tools (e.g. Siebel, Lotus Notes) as the source and archive for all data, actions, commitments, and tracking of business. Relevant experience & qualification: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, * Thorough understanding of IT and telecommunication networks, key components and applications. * Solid understanding of facilities - specifically data center power, power distribution, and cooling. * Basic understanding of fortune 1000 companies' organizational structures and experience in working with those companies. * Basic understanding of business & financial terms such as Capex, Opex, ROI, ROA, etc. * Relentless attitude and desire to win and be a self-starter. * Minimum of 3 years customer support experience. * Total experience: 5 – 8 yrs. * Technical and experience related to data center/facilities, three-phase power, UPS, computer room air-conditioning, Network Critical Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) is highly desired. * This position will report to the respective Regional Managers of the Enterprise Segment. * This is NOT an entry-level technical sales position!
