Well, that's what it's supposed to do. Those options determine the video
scaling that the mvp will request VLC transcode to.

If you specified a width/height/canvas on the command line you used to
start VLC, then they will override whatever the mvp asks for.

You can check what the mvp has requested by telnetting in to the mvp and
doing "cat /usr/share/mvpmc/connect.log" - the top of the output is the
transcode request sent to VLC.
