Also, you're seeing the demux video buffer fill up, while the audio
buffer does not. This is normal. The audio buffer is typically bigger
than you need, unless your video bitrate is very low.

Myth box is connected to a 100mbps switch which is linked to
my router (also 100mbps) which has the MVP connected to it.
I'm concerned that the new kernel gives me significantly lower
throughput than the old one.
Am I the only one experiencing this?
I can scp files from the myth box to my laptop at 12mpbs
but the network doesn't seem to be the limit as the I can
still watch TV whilst doing this.
I suspect the laptop HD is the bottleneck in this case.
