Just a side note for a CIF file server. It seems that there it doesn't
have such a big influence which kernel is used. I didn't mess with the
buffer sizes (using the rsize=34000 as suggested for Win).
So just for Info, here are my results (PC connected full duplex to 100MB
Switch, followed by another 100MB full duplex switch to the MVP):
20061112: 10.75mb/s
20061129: 9.22mb/s
0.3.2: 10.86mb/s
20070107: 8.00mb/s
Measured always with the same file, duration 20sec. The demux bar
(video) always fill up quite nicely, around +80% steady. Done the
measurements at lease twice each.

Funny the 20070107 us slower. But I noticed a file size jump from 2.8MB
20061220 to 3.1MB for 20061222. Could that be some big change having an
impact here?

Oliver
