I don't find it surprising. If there is a problem or delay during the tftp the bootloader will load an older Hauppauge dongle.bin that is flash. With the Hauppauge software running it is then able to start. The timeout value seems to be about thirty seconds, that I why I am interested in seeing the GBPVR logs.
