Well, after patching atftp so it would build, my MVP is still not even
trying to contact my tftp servers. I'm almost positive this thing is only
willing to boot from flash. I've got my two instances of atftp writing to
separate log files. The md5's still matched, after I was able to pull the
files from the corresponding server with no problem:
Dec 28 16:22:49 server.vtscrew.com atftpd[5798.-1208994112]: Advanced
Trivial FTP server started (0.7)
Dec 28 16:26:50 server.vtscrew.com atftpd[5799.-1208996976]: Serving
dongle.bin.ver to 192.168.1.55:32770
Dec 28 16:22:49 server.vtscrew.com atftpd[5796.-1208961344]: Advanced
Trivial FTP server started (0.7)
Dec 28 16:27:02 server.vtscrew.com atftpd[5797.-1208964208]: Serving
dongle.bin to 192.168.1.55:32770
Unfortunately there is still no mention of the MVP even trying to hit either
TFTP server, and if I read that tcpdump correctly, there were no signs of it
there. Did I miss a step in the howto about where you beat the MVP open
with a hammer, and then rip the flash memory out with a crowbar? I really
think that there must be something I have to do to convince this thing to
even try and pull the dongle.bin from across the network.
Thanks for the help,
=-Jameson
