Thanks for the responses. I upgraded to 1.14 before installing this extension.
Well the toolbox isn't "editable" in the MediaWiki:Sidebar_[NS_NUM] file so I'm not sure how I could localize it. If I could just figure out how the link is created for each page, I could just put an image link of the Acrobat file icon and people could click that to download as PDF.
