Would it be possible for MLO to add "time required for this task" values of all tasks in a group in a to-do view?
More details: I use a to-do view configured to group tasks by due-date. This is to allow me to assess my workload (see how many tasks I have scheduled in the coming days) and scheduled new tasks better. Looking at my group-by-due-date to-do view I can see how many tasks have been scheduled for a given day. I cannot see, however, how much time has been scheduled. Sometimes 5 tasks can be done in 2 hours sometimes they will take me the whole day. I would love MLO to be able to add up the "time required for this task" values of all tasks in a group and display the total in the group heading (e.g. Wednesday, 8 tasks, 4.5 hours min/ 6 hours max) - this would allow me to do more realistic scheduling. Currently, I can see I've scheduled 10 tasks for Monday but would really have to go through every task to get an idea if I still have some room left to add any additional work to that day. Being able to just look at my to-do view and quickly see my workload for the coming days (Monday 4-6hours, Wed 6-7.5h etc.) would make life so much easier and may even stop me from bugging the developers about a calendar functionality :) Best regards, Greg --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
