An update. I uninstalled all MLO versions. Did a fresh beta install; now running version 2.1.0.761 beta-5. Did not run MLO when install completed, and verified that MLO was not in systray. Ran the .reg file. Started MLO AHK. Mostly the same experience, with the difference that now Snippet winds up adding the text to the <Inbox> note. RTE still doesn't work.
Closed MLO and MLO AHK. Restarted MLO. Reset RTE and Hotkeys to defaults. Exited. Ran .reg again. Tried everything again. Same result. (BTW, I know you wrote this for free and I feel a little uncomfortable continuing to push for help, so if you'd rather not, that's fine. Or if there's a charity I could contribute to in your honor, just let me know. I really appreciate your help.)
