MLO never removed emails from Outlook after drag & drop. I have just tested it again and for me it just created a copy of the email with the link in MLO. Email is not removed.
Do you drag &drop from Inbox? Please try to drag & drop other Outlook items for a test (tasks for example). Will they be removed also? A.
