I am experiencing this problem as well. Started happening with the upgrade to the new version. I've tested it with Tasks and it happens there too.
I am running MLO from my thumbdrive. My computer is a Lenovo (IBM) Thinkpad T61 using MS Outlook 2007 (12.0.6300.5000) SP1 MSO (12.0.6320.5000).
