Hi Andrey

No, the data was entered mostly on the PPC. This was in a couple of
stages, with the first set being synced to the PC, theen a second set
entered. The PPC produced the save error and then, after exiting and
restarting MLO, lost both sets, reverting to a state before the sync.
The first set was restored when I created a new file and resynced, but the
second set was lost.

My guess is that MLO had not been saving to the file for a while but
hadn't reported an error and was otherwise working. The data was all held
in volatile RAM and at some point a buffer was exceeded and it refused to
accept any more data. Exiting and restarting lost the volatile version and
reloaded the file in the state it was before the problem.

I created a new file because I didn't want to risk the earlier state being
synced to the PC, and also thought it might eliminate the problem, which
it may have done, but I don't trust it as much at the moment.

The PPC is an HTC Advantage 7510 and the MLO file was stored on the built
in 16Gb flash disk.

Cheers

Nick
