I would like the additional choice of adding contexts of the new parent task when moving tasks around. At the moment you have the option of keeping existing contexts or replacing with parent task contexts.
The application would be where I enter a task with a context in quick task entry -> defaults to inbox (example Call Tony about project resources friday @Calls). When I later process the inbox (Getting things done) and move the task to the project hierarchy, I would like to add the project contexts but keep the @Calls context. The same would apply if I move a task to the backlog area - I would like to retain the original project contexts. Of course it is also possible in this case to just add the backlog context in the project folder and filter in the to do list, so less critical. The second request would be where entering a task in rapid task entry with a context - if I add it to the correct parent task but specify a context (e.g. @Calls) it replaces the parent context. The better option in my view would be to add any contexts in parsing to the parent context, rather than replacing it. regards, Christo --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
