Hello, Andrey & company..

I have some Feature Requests for MLO. Forgive me if some of this is
covered in 3.0, but I think it's not yet. I've given a short list,
then more description below.

1) Random subtask - Each time a parent task comes due, offer one of
the subtasks (randomly)
2) Plan Mode/Pin to Calendar - Map To Do items onto calendar to
actually schedule commitments
3) GPS-enabled contexts - Game-changing feature for smartphones. Alert
of ToDos when near given context.
4) Palm WebOS compatibility
5) Check MLO reminder

1) Random Subtask
Each time a parent subtask comes due, offer one of the subtasks to
be done.
USES:
      1. I have set aside time each week to do one "adventure", but
rather than choose it, I'd rather have MLO give me one randomly from a
list I've set up.
      2. My girlfriend and I like to try new restaurants. Each time I
hear of one, I'd like to put it into the list. Then, for our weekly
scheduled date night, MLO tells us which restaurant to go to.
      3. For any other project or collection of tasks that you can't
handle all at once and want MLO to throw one at you.

2) Plan Mode/Pin to Calendar
For those of us that live by a calendar and would like to have our
To Do's actually scheduled (maybe not all of them, but some of them)
it would be nice to have MLO lay out on a calendar when everything
could be happening if you focused on accomplishing your To Do's.
The Pin-to-Calendar part would allow you to fix the dates of some
tasks so that you know when they're going to happen.
This came up for me when I started doing a Daily Action Plan with a
group of people-- I'd really just like to be able to have MLO tell me,
hour-by-hour, what I'll be doing today.

3) GPS-enabled contexts
This is a feature I have dreamt of for years and years and is
within striking distance of becoming a reality. It's the next logical
step for contexts (especially since they have open/closed hours). The
idea is that MLO could periodically (configurable) check its location
and, if close to a context that has due items, alert you of that.
I understand the difficulties in accomplishing this, but what
you've done with MLO so far has been amazing, so I thought I'd throw
it out there.
USES:
     1. MLO checks, sees you're at the shopping center-- alerts you
that you have a ToDo to pick up your dry-cleaning and buy some new
shoes.
     2. Next time I'm at my girlfriend's house, remind me to find the
book I left over there.
     3. Next time I'm near the office, remind me to pick up the file I
needed.

4) Palm WebOS compatibility
Since this is probably the next big phone, once it's opened up for
development, I'd love to see a version of MLO on it. Until that time
(once I get a Pre), I will hang on to my dreadful Treo 800w.

5) I would like to MLO "tickle me" every so often to check in with
it-- highly configurable, of course. What I tend to do is "ignore" MLO
for long periods of time, then everything gets out of date. This would
just help me to keep on track, especially if I'm letting things go
overdue.
