Hi the drag and drop feature from outlook mail is very usefull. You just drag and drop an email from outlook to MLO, and it creates a task with an outlook url that links back to the email. The problem is that if you move that email in Outlook to another folder (possibly in another PST file), the link doesn't work anymore. The feature request I raise is to be able to move mail to another folder, and still have this link working.
This would ease the (probably very common) usage scenario when I practice my daily GTD: - I read the mail in my Inbox - I figure out what to do with it - If It triggers an action, I drag and drop the mail to MLO and document the task (with the link to the mail) - I move the mail to another folder, out of my Inbox.. As a result of this scenario, I have a MLO task with the text of the orignial mail but the link is not working anymore. If I want to get grip of the original mail, I have to go the folder where I moved the mail and search for it. Of course, the workaround you can use is to first move the mail, and the create the link, but it is cumbersome and it introduces complexity in the process phase when Emptying the Inbox, resulting in significant efficiency losses. I don't know if there is a possibility to implement this, but this would really be very helpfull and save me (and hopefully others) a lot of time. If this rings a bell to other MLO & GTD addicts, don't hesitate to comment ;-) Thanks.
