In the Timing and Reminder section of the properties pane, there are three really useful shortcuts above the dates: 'today', 'next day' and 'next week'. Now that I can multi-select tasks, I can highlight an entire set of subtasks, all dates different, and shift their dates together. For example, I might set out a project that should take me a week to complete - say, 14 tasks, 2 on each day. But if I shelve the project (by removing from to-do list view) and then decide to do it at a later date, or if I simply fall behind on it, I can shift the dates of all the subtasks together by selecting all the subtasks together and using these shortcuts to shift the dates to the present. It works really well, especially for projects that I have got behind on.
It would be useful also to have the option to move dates BACKWARDS as well, in similar fashion, by having a shortcut, 'previous day' as well. Ths would be useful for bringing forward projects that I had scheduled in the future. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
