You would lose your money!

That ship has sailed. Webapps like Remember The Milk are too well
entrenched and there are literally dozens of lookalike "to do"
programs. Although MLO is a combined Outliner/To Do, it would be
classified as a To Do program.

The unique selling points of MLO are it's power, customizing options,
speed and portability which don't transfer easily to a Web 2.0
implementation. Mobility is important but will come from smartphone
apps currently under development. There is a place (and a need) for
both simple accessible "cloud" software AND the extended functionality
of desktop based software. A case in point in the note-taking arena
would be the equal popularity of Evernote and OneNote. They are
complementary not mutually exclusive.
